HMC Innovs LLC (“HMC”) is committed to providing high-quality dental laboratory services to licensed dental professionals. Because our products are custom-made based on the dentist’s prescription, all sales are subject to the terms outlined below.

This policy applies to remakes, adjustments, credits, and refunds.


General Policy

All dental laboratory products are custom-fabricated and are non-returnable once production has begun.

  • Refunds are not automatically provided
  • Eligible concerns may qualify for a remake or adjustment, subject to review
  • All requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis

This policy does not replace clinical judgment and does not guarantee coverage.


Warranty Coverage (Lab-Related Errors Only)

HMC may authorize a remake or adjustment if a lab-related issue is identified within the warranty period.

Eligible Product Categories

  • Full and partial dentures
  • Implant-supported dentures
  • Flippers and immediate dentures
  • Crowns and bridges
  • Nightguards and splints

Warranty Period

Warranty coverage begins on the date of delivery to the dental office.

Covered Issues (Lab-Related)

Coverage may apply if the issue is determined to be caused by a laboratory error, including:

  • Shade or material mismatch based on the original prescription
  • Processing or finish defects
  • Tooth positioning or occlusal issues caused by lab fabrication
  • Poor adaptation when the provided model or impression is accurate

Not Covered Under Warranty

Warranty coverage does not apply to:

  • Inaccurate, incomplete, or distorted impressions or scans
  • Incorrect bite registration or vertical dimension
  • Changes to the original prescription (shade, tooth selection, design)
  • Patient-requested changes after fabrication
  • Clinical handling or delivery errors
  • Appliances worn beyond intended temporary use
  • Remake requests submitted after the warranty period

Warranty is also void if:

  • The appliance has been worn for more than 90 days without prior approval
  • Required new impressions or models are not submitted when requested

Refunds & Credits

  • Cash refunds are not guaranteed
  • Approved cases may qualify for:
    • A remake
    • An adjustment
    • A partial or full account credit, at HMC’s discretion

Credits, if issued, may be applied to future services.


Cancellations

  • Cases canceled before production begins may be eligible for cancellation
  • Once production has started, the case is considered non-cancelable
  • Any incurred labor or material costs may still apply

How to Submit a Warranty or Remake Request

To request a review, please submit:

  • Original case number and patient name
  • Description of the concern
  • Relevant photos (appliance, model, intraoral)
  • New impressions or models, if applicable
  • Date of delivery

Requests must be submitted within the stated warranty period.

Policy Review

All warranty, remake, credit, and refund requests are reviewed internally. Approval is determined based on documentation provided, clinical context, and whether a laboratory-related issue is identified.
